Psychological harm
Understanding the consequences. Examining what can be established.
An experience may affect sleep, relationships or everyday life. A forensic assessment examines possible psychological harm, its nature and progression, and its relationship to the events described.
What we can examine
- Psychological functioning and impact on everyday life.
- Development over time and relevant background.
- Consistency between findings and the events being examined.
What may help assess your case
- A timeline of events and observed changes.
- Health records and previous psychological care.
- Documents that help establish the context.
Distress cannot automatically be attributed to a single cause. The analysis considers background factors, other circumstances and information limits.
Do I need an existing diagnosis?
Not necessarily. Earlier reports may be helpful, but the relevance and scope of a new assessment are considered individually.
Let’s talk about
what happened.
Choose the reason for your enquiry and start a conversation with the team. A general description is enough for this initial contact.
